The mission of Sports EquityTM Lab is to foster social justice, and decency within the realm of sports; to eliminate discrimination and create opportunities for all, irrespective of gender, ability, socioeconomic status, or any other form of marginalization. Fair sports, fair world.
The Opportunity
Ghana’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, in partnership with the African Union, gave Sports Equity Lab (SEL) the go-ahead to create a lasting impact on sports fairness during the Africa Games. This presented an ideal opportunity to celebrate Africa's elite athletes and propel the dialogue surrounding sports equity to the forefront of global consciousness.
